She went first and he advised her to take flax seed oil and did some adjustments.
I was given a stone to wear as my 'shields' ie. the bodies electrical field was depleted in my case. He said it should help with my insomnia - I sure hope so - more than one consecutive night of full sleep would be a miracle.
I am hoping this will fix my feet. I am willing to try anything!
We went here afterwards:
And stopped by the deli to pick up some dumplings for lunch.
My sister enjoyed an array of shrimp and pork dumplings. |
I had two pot stickers and two pork dumplings. |
I also picked up an easy dinner:
Beef stew, tofu rice wrappers with peanut dipping sauce, kombucha, selenium and some chamomile tea. |
I only ended up eating the soup. I didn't have much of an appetite tonight.
I will save the tofu wrappers for lunch tomorrow.
I am exhausted after a long day, night all!
I understood most of this blog except for the selenium. I know it's a component in CIGS solar cells but in the context where it appears here it seems like it's meant to be eaten! So I referred to "The Doctor's Complete Guide to Vitamins and Minerals" by Mary Dan Eades (c) 1994 and I learned that selenium (when taken in appropriate doses) strengthens the immune system and may be able to slow aging. Then I began to wonder: Am I getting enough selenium? So I checked the label on the Varsity Pack 1 multi-vitamin and mineral packet that I take each day (they're from Nutrition Express). It contains 100 mcg of selenium in the form of L-Selenomethionine, which the label helpfully states is 143% of my daily requirement. Whew! That's a relief.
ReplyDeleteThe doctor felt I was low in selenium - hence the higher dose which I will only take for a short time.
